justice for jazz artists marches again!

Please Join Us as We Bring Our Message of Fairness, Dignity and Respect to the Jazz Club Owners in NYC!

Justice for Jazz Artists will be out in force TONIGHT, June 27 as we continue in our push to convince NYC nightclub owners to do the right thing and meet with us to discuss pension and other issues of fairness for musicians who work in their venues.

We’ll be featuring the music of our best band yet, a crack ensemble of top professionals.
As our campaign continues to grow (54,000 Facebook “likes” at last count!) we need your help in bringing our message to club owners*

JAZZ MUSICIANS MUST BE TREATED WITH FAIRNESS, DIGNITY AND RESPECT!

Date: This Thursday, June 27th
Time: 7 PM
Location: Meet at Madison Square Park
(NW Corner of Broadway and East 23rd Street)

LIVE JAZZ BAND! COME OUT AND DANCE, SING, AND DEMONSTRATE WITH US!

*Dozens of jazz musicians retire every year with little or no assets, no social security, and no retirement benefits. Additionally, in NYC and elsewhere, jazz club owners continue to record in their venues without permission. Side performers in particular have no say in what happens to these recordings, which can be sold to the highest bidder with no protections for new or future use! This situation needs to change!

Despite our efforts to reach them, club owners still refuse to meet with us or take our calls!
Come out on Thursday night, June 27, and MARCH WITH US and the J4JA BRASS BAND as we bring our message to NYC Jazz Club Owners:

WE REFUSE TO BE SILENT ON THIS ISSUE!

See You There!!!
